DIVISIONAL MANAGER(ACCOUNTS) JOB PURPOSE : Responsible for managing CM SBU accounting staffat corporate office and sales offices covering financial accounting coveringSales and member accounting, accounts receivable and accounts payablereporting and ensuring their tasks and responsibilities are completed timelyand accurately. Additional responsibilities include systems andprocedure compliance and audit preparation. JOBRESPONSIBILITIES : Communicate and coordinate with Management andother colleagues to ensure needed information is provided Supervising and guiding the maintenance ofaccurate requisite and statutory accounting records Managing the monthly closing of accounts Preparation of accurate and timely monthlyfinancial statements. Tracking and reporting measures of performance(e.g. Balance Score Card measures) Managing monthly forecast processes. Preparation and analysis of financial andexpense performance including analysis of actual performance versusbudget/forecast for each department Projections of performance for business segments Ensuring processes for statutory compliances areduly followed at locations (regions, branches etc.). Preparation and response/action forperiodic/yearly internal/statutory audits. JOBCOMPETENCIES : Understanding of accounting and financialreporting environment including of prevalent accounting standards, systems andpractices Attention to detail and commitment to accuracyin reporting Good communication and organizational/teamleadership skills Ability to work with cross functionalpeers/senior colleagues Persuasive and motivational ability Good time management skills and commitment todeadlinesContacts:
