EMBEDDED LINUX SENIOR ENGINEER support embedded software for complex multiprocessor enterprise storage products. Duties include analyzing customer problems and developing fixes and enhancements to existing product software. Responsibilities include root cause analysis, software post-mortem analysis, analysis by inspection, and other techniques. Must be customer-focused, results-oriented and able to work in an urgency-driven environment. Desired Candidate Profile Qualification: Post Graduation- MCA/PGDCA, ME/M.Tech/Graduates 3+ years programming experience, ideally in an embedded, high-availability or distributed processing environment Strong C skills, familiarity/experience with assembly language programming a plus Experience with storage protocols (SCSI, ISCSI) a definite plus Experience with networking protocols also valuable Understanding of operating systems and their primitives as well as IO drivers is also required Familiarity with standard development tools (compilers, symbolic debuggers, etc.) and methodologies Strong communications skills, both written and verbal. Must have a sound understanding of engineering principles Flexibility to travel and stay for a period of time in the US to receive training is desired.
