The System Solution Team at the Global Engineering Solutions (GES) at ISL handles the complete life cycle of Embedded Software - Design, Development and Maintenance. Major Activities include Hardware bring up, OS porting, BIOS/BSP Development, Board and System Level Design, Application development, IBM middleware integration and Post Silicon Validation tools development. This team collaborates with other Research labs worldwide to provide System level Solutions to customers. The team works on multiple platforms and technology domains covering devices as small as hand-held / palm-tops to large mid-range servers.Desired Candidate ProfileQualification: Post Graduation- MCA/PGDCA, ME/M.Tech/Graduates. Candidate should have the experience of 10-15 years.Capable of estimating new function (i.e. software capabilities) and new devices (i.e. low-cost dome light). Capable of driving trade-off decisions (i.e. type of memory versus cost and schedule). Capable of managing customers (drive to a decision, lead discussions and become part of the leadership team). Technical leadership experience. Technical schedule development experience. Vendor management experience. Experience developing and delivering a hardware / firmware solution.
