We are looking for a senior technical person to take up the lead role for DB2 Install FVT team. Ideally this person should have seven to ten years of experience in product development environment preferably in testing domain. This person will be considered for band 7B/8 depending on level of experience and his expertise. This person will be responsible for Coming up with Test Plans and reviewing the Test Plans created by other team members Preparation of test schedules and tracking the same Leading a team of 12 to 16 test engineers of which some could be module leads Helping management in hiring actively by participating in interview process Taking lead in quality aspects of the project. Anticipate hardware and software requirements for the team. Drive technical discussions with development and other teams Constantly look for improving the process and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness Guiding team on technical matters in maintain/enhancing the tools developed by the team Leading knowledge transition activities.Desired Candidate ProfileQualification: Post Graduation- MCA/PGDCA, ME/M.Tech/Graduates 5-8 yrs Relevant as DB2 DBA with Unix experience Installs, configures and upgrades DBMS and RDBMS server software and related products. This role establishes and maintains backup and recovery policies and procedures; Implements and maintains database security; Sets up and maintains documentation and standards.
