1. Ensure maximum availability of Electrical power distribution systems (HT and LT), all electrical equipment like motors, drives and other equipment, including but not limited to lighting, Communication systems (including telephony and public address systems), power systems including UPS, PCC/ MCC, switchgear, earthing, lightning protection, in all manufacturing plants, laboratories and utilities.2. Responsible for Gas Turbine based cogeneration power plant3. To ensure conformance of Electrical systems to all statutory norms and standards.4. Liase with GEB, Electrical Inspector and other government authorities and contractors.5. Budget and control costs associated with maintenance of above systems6. Electrical Engg support to all projects and modifications in the site7. Subordinate development.
