SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS FOR THE DESIGN ENGINEER: Project management in relation to clients and production facilities Technically based client contact and co-ordination Independent responsibility for 3-D design and construction. General preparations for manufacturing documentation Co-operatin with factory staff on production , optimization of the product Ensure constant Supplier Contribution to overall Development and product Optimization Ensure personal ongoing skills / training within IT and required qualifications. Experience from Similar position , preferably within the metals Industry, including knowledge of and experience with manufacturing documentation. Profound knowledge of applicable drawing and dimensioning procedures. Familiar with Concorde / XAL or Navision. Familiar with the MS Office tools and experince from previous employment is of high importance
