General Manager Purchase
Position Title : GM - Purchases Location : Corporate Office, CoimbatoreKey Accountability- Draw an annual procurement plan. Integrate the procurement plan with the placement of birds.- Evolve strategies for procurement other internal customers well before the commencement of financial year.- Based on the business plan, fix KRA`s for the next level managers in the region.- Develop inventory norms.- Coordinate with all the functional specialists, to identify and develop alternative feed materials / vaccines / medicines etc.,- To design a process for vendor identification and development and periodical review of the same.- Submission periodical reports on MIS- Purchase- Ensure that the relevant statutes are complied in spirit. - Developing the next level managers to take up higher responsibilities.- Training and development.- Ensure timely availability of material and release of vendor payment.- Implementation of IT - Introducing innovative initiatives in operations.Qualification and experience- Graduate / post graduate with MBA in materials management from Tier I institution - 15 + years of post qualification experience of which atleast 5+ years as Procurement Head in a multi location FMCG / Commodity organization handling perishable / price sensitive products. - Able to handle high volume transactions ( close to 1500 Crores ).- Moderate Financial Skills- Advanced human relation skills.
