The Project Manager shall be overall responsible for service support for the ATM(Asynchronous Transport module) Switches that are been provided by C-Dot to Navy for managing integrated back-bone network for voice and data communication on single broadband network (comprising CCS, VCS and DEX nodes to provide voice communication on-board ship and integrates Network Interface Units (NIUs), Remote Interface Unit (RNIU) and other access nodes to enable exchange of data among them.The specific responsibilities of the DGM (Service Support) can be defined as: Hardware level testing of ATM switch and NIU(Network Interface Unit) cards with the test software as per the test procedure provided by C-DoT Hardware level checks on the installed ATM switch and NIU as per the test procedure provided by C-DoT Software installation and initialization of ATM switches and NIUs as per the user manual provided by C-DoT Creating and testing network of ATM switches, NIUs and NHMS (Network Health Monitoring system) as per the project requirements To manage the entire service team. To provide the support to Engineering Team remotely or personaly visit to customer site as his team will be based at Mumbai, Bangalore, Kolkatta, Vishakhapatnam and also go to Russia.Competence Requirement Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics/Telecommunications Extensively worked on ATM Switches and NIU Cards. He should be well versed with Permanent virtual connection (PVC) and Switched Virtual Connection (SVC). Understanding of NHMS (N/w Health Management System) would be added advantage. Minimum 5-12 years of experience in the similar industrial or service set-up. Minimum 3 years as a team lead in similar field People oriented and can mix-up with people Can travel a lot Should be a Team-Leader. Should have knowledge of C/C++/Linux software
