Designation : Design Engineer Location : Mumbai Key Skills : Design Engineer Education : BE - Mechanical Experience : 3-6 years Mechanical design of Pressure Equipment and piping as per ASME Sec.-I, VIII Div.1 and 2, IBR, AD-Merkblatter, PD 5500, ASME B31.1 and 31.3 including design calculations for wind and seismic loads, foundation load data, nozzle local load analysis as per WRC Bulletin no. 107 and 297, flexibility analysis of connecting piping etc Detailed Engineering of Boiler systems comprising of Waste Heat Boilers, Steam Drum, Superheater and connecting piping including material ordering specifications, drawing checking and Bill of materials. In addition to the above, this position shall also be responsible for obtaining approval of design and drawings from the concerned agencies such as customer, process licensor, third party inspection agency, statutory bodies etc Working in Design department of a reputed process equipment manufacturing company or Engineering department for 3-6 years. Knowledge of Design as per ASME codes, Use of commonly used software for PV design such as PV Elite, Compress, codecalc etc Hands on knowledge of FE Analysis using ANSYS, IDEAS or NISA.
