To install system of preventive maintenance and speedy breakdown maintenance to ensure availability of equipment as per plan. To maintain continuously records of equipment productivity, operating cost, maintenance cost, spares availability and inventory level, breakdown hours, etc. with the view to achieve equipment performance in line with international standards, lower cost while simultaneously ensuring continuous availability of equipment. To provide inputs for preparing of project plans and budgets. To provide appropriate equipment related information to all concerned at the project site and at H.O. and to seek relevant information from them to effectively carry out his task.
