Summarized Job Description: Forms the critical link between merchandising, marketing and store operations by managing the communication and implementation of in store presentation. Involved in combining the creative, technical and operational aspects of a product and the business.Responsible for the overall 'look and feel ' of the store. Ensure appropriate display of merchandise in focus Monitor in-store visual display by putting merchandise in focus and communicate to customers, create desire and finally augment the selling process.Role and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all visual merchandising activities prior to the store launch.Solicit inputs on lifestyle concepts and trends, as well as store and/or regional attributes and ideal concepts and designs. Synthesizes entire display, design, remodeling concepts and branding of the store.Design, develop and communicate set-up of all promotional events and seasonal campaigns. Collaborate with outside agencies to conceptualize and execute ideas. Coordinate with suppliers and ensure that execution is according to plan. Follow instructions and data provided in the docket plan forwarded by pre-ops team. Plan and execute as per visual merchandising calendar incorporating seasonal and regional promotional activities. Responsible for the day-to-day VM operation of a store. Ensure that stores are consistent with the company brand and image and the visual elements are displayed with current merchandise and reflect current market trends. To follow up and coordinate with production agencies for the graphic solutions. Coordinate with suppliers and ensure that execution is according to plan. Desired ProfileIdeal Candidate should have a strong Visual Merchandising background /Graphic Designing /Interior Designing qualified with 6 - 10 yrs of experience in Implementation of Visual Merchandising ideaslike display panels, boards, interior hoardings, etc. Should have bend for creativity.
