Job Description : The candidate would be responsible for - Credit Controller - MIS reporting - Functional reporting - Accomplishment of Regional and Corporate Goals - Manage credit controlling staff to enhance employee productivity - Monitoring credit account opening procedures - Resolution of customer claims - Follow up of collections - Cross departmental conflict management - To monitor daily collection and deposits into bank account - Review performance of the collection team on Quarterly Basis - Weekly/Monthly MIS reporting - Review payment patterns of the customers and guide the team on possible defaulters - Suggest processes that would enhance employee productivity and reduce outstanding - Ensure that the process of sending reminders for customers outstanding is in place - Monitor the credit verification process carefully and suggest any improvements if required - Monitor the credit limits and credit period closely for all the customers and keep the team and other work groups informed of the same - Coordinate in obtaining Credit approvals for new customers from the respective authorities required as per the Credit Policy / VISA Power - Regular visits to customers - Suggest Corporate on possible defaulter and initiate legal proceedings - Ensure the adherence to the credit control policies Desired Profile : - The candidate should be a commerce graduate and MBA Finance would be preferred - The candidate should have 7 - 8 years relevant Credit Control and Collections experience in atleast a medium sized company in the service industry and 2-3 years on supervisory level with experience in people management
