DSP(Video) Engineers/Lead. Location Noida Client MNC with Multi Billion$ Revenues Responsibilities, The video DSP engineer is responsible for evaluating, analyzing, designing, and implementing advanced DSP based video software, including standards based video compression, computer vision and image processing algorithms and modules. This is a technical leadership role. Development of advanced algorithms in Computer Vision and Image Processing, including standards-based video compression algorithms such as H.264 and MPEG-4 from feasibility to deployment on Clients Devices. Software optimization of video algorithms for Digital Signal Processors. Working closely with other members of the technical staff on projects including acting as a leader to build Clients capability in software-based Video. Development, execution, and documentation of relevant performance benchmarks; including performance optimization (assemble and kernel optimization) and architectural bottleneck analysis, Provide input and guidance on the design of various systems that will be used as development and demonstration platform of Clients new devices. Providing architectural inputs and recommendations for the design of Clients next generation DSPs. Identify techniques and design solutions for complex problems in unstructured data, Develop performance measures and evaluate algorithms on real data, Matlab, C/++ based simulations, implementations and analysis of algorithms. Provide system level input and technical expertise on customer proposals, Feasibility analysis and evaluation of potential 3rd party intellectual property and technology for incorporation into new products Interact with customers and users, Author white papers and application notes. Requirements, MS in EE or PhD in Video and DSP related domains. (Will consider BS degree with appropriate/relevant experience), Relevant industry experience in standards-based video compression. Relevant industry experience in Video Surveillance, Computer Vision (Pattern recognition and classification), and Image Processing Systems. Strong analytical skills, Strong problem solving ability, Knowledge of video compression algorithms such as MPEG4 and H.264. Strong understanding of state-of-the-art computer vision research preferably in the area of automated video surveillance techniques and applications. Expertise in video, audio, and systems integration. Experience in designing and troubleshooting complex systems. Experience in scientific analysis using Matlab analysis tools. Excellent communication and writing skills. Fluent written and spoken English. Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team with minimal supervision, Ability to effectively handle multiple tasks in parallel, Good presentation skills, Experience in the design of embedded systems. Related and on the job experience with Texas Instruments DSPs in Video applications is a definite plus, Experience in code optimization techniques (C or assembly language) is a plus. Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor of Engineering/Technology, Master of Computer Application/Computer Science or Master of Engineering/Technology in Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent. At least 2+ year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position. Applicants must be willing to work in Noida. Applicants should be Indian citizens or hold relevant residence status. Preferably senior executives specializing in Engineering - Electronics/Communication or equivalent.
