Position: India Head Training and Development Location: - Delhi/NCRExperience: - 12 15 Years (in core training function)Reporting: - India Head Human Resources Mandate and Key ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Manager, Learning and Development will report to the Vice President, Human Resources and will be responsible for assessing and further developing the skills and expertise of all of the staff. He or she will support the growth of the organization, in particular concentrating on the role that training can play in creating an dynamic, open and fun environment in which our people can continue both to excel and to learn. Must be a team player. Work with the line-managers to: - assess the training and development needs of their teams- put in place job evaluation and performance management programmes.- Implement employee recognition and reward programmes - Identify programs that could increase organizational effectiveness.Continuous focus on employee culture, developing the strategy for communication mechanisms and improvement initiativesBackground Experience and Knowledge Must bring experience in applying consultative and innovative approaches- has had success in start-up, rapid change or transition environments, developing creative and exciting new training and development programs Has been successful in a start-up environment where there is ambiguity, nimbleness, very rapid pace and where a low cost and highly efficient structure is valued A successful background in training and development in a service industry.
