RESPONSIBILITIESLinux/ Unix engineers with exposure on Windows Active Directory, with a demonstrated strength in secure application architecture, development and implementation skills. Will be working on open source and will be responsible for installing and maintaining the applications.To work within a team to support computer systems to solve business problems, including automation of complex tasks using scripts. Will be required to provide support for the applications and data center infrastructure. REQUIRED SKILLS1. Strong administrative skill on Linux Fedora / Redhat. 2. Knowledge on Shell scripting.3. Hands on experience on monitoring tools like Nagios, CACTI will be added advantage, as they are open source.4. Expert with HTML.5. Understanding of TCP/IP is a must.6. Knowledge on Active Directory Services - DNS Zones, Replications. 7. Should have worked in heterogeneous environment ;- Windows and Linux/Unix mixed environment8. Network Operations and Network Security - DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, Routing.9. System Performance Management Fine tuning of Linux Operating System and open-source applications10. Monitors production systems and provides 24x7 support for production related issues. This may include the maintenance of the application itself or the correction of damaged/corrupted data within the file structures. 11. Continually analyzes the application using debugging tools, error logs, scripts and backup reports in order to optimize performance. 12. Knowledge of hardware platforms like HP (Proliant servers) and Dell (PowerEdge series) is also an added value13. Manages the backup and recovery for Linux servers.14. Applying critical software patches/upgrades. 15. Works with the US Team for monthly Data Center shut down activities
