Be a high school graduate and shall have at least five (5) years experience as a Beach Lifeguard. Have basic knowledge of how to handle crowds in the event of a disturbance or accident which may result in panic type situation. Possess a current and valid lifeguard certificate i.e. American Red Cross, Royal Lifesaving Society, Ellis and Associates or any other internationally recognized beach lifeguard qualification. Also be currently qualified in the following: First Aid and CPR Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) Beach Lifeguard Certificate, Be familiar with the operation and usage of an emergency radio (PMR/walkie-talkie). Eight (8) lifeguards shall have the experience and certification of how to operate the rescue crafts(s). They shall have the basic knowledge for maintaining the rescue crafts(s) and caring for the equipment to ensure reliability. Shall pass the SAUDI ARAMCO lifeguard trade test every six (6) months or when requested and bi-annual appraisals. Designated boat crews (8 lifeguards for beach rescue craft operations) shall have valid Saudi Arabian Government boat operating licenses). Night patrol lifeguards shall be competent and able to operate the 4x4 quad-bike. Shall also be fully conversant with the procedures set out in the SAUDI ARAMCO Swimming Pool Normal Operating Procedures. Note: SAUDI ARAMCO shall test the Lifeguards prior to commencement of the WORK. Tests shall include, but not be limited to swimming and lifeguard techniques as described in Attachment VII to this Schedule B. If it is subsequently proved that any of the Lifeguards is unfit for the WORK, CONTRACTOR shall provide an immediate replacement. This also applies to qualified rescue boat crews.
