Project Detail:
AVIVA Insurance is the world's fifth-largest insurance group and the biggest in the UK (Based on gross worldwide premiums).Also known as Norwich Union and a service provider with insurance at its core and care at its heart,NUI provides general insurance for Motor, Property, Travel, Creditor and Commercial. NUI currently supports 7 Policy Systems and 6 Claims Systems for Creditor business which feed data to MI/Finance via different processes. Reporting of Creditor data is not up to mark and hence was kept on hold. However, the business has now again come up with their new requirements and the requirement is to streamline the existing Creditor data processing and calculate the Earnings, loading into the existing and the newly designed DB2 tables further feeding them into the General Ledger.

Responsibilities:
• Involved in the analysis, design and development. Developed Low Level Design (LLD) during the design phase.

The Data Protection Act (DPA) states that companies must not keep computer records containing personal details longer than is necessary to conduct their business. This Project includes Test dataset deletion where the input files for NUI data warehouse regression testing are depersonalized. The files to be depersonalized are all files used as input to one of the loader processes (i.e. client, client helper, policy or claim). Depersonalization of personal data in entity datasets by using client numbers basically consists of unloading data from DB2 table related to source and load source values (12 & 5) into a flat file and matching the client numbers of the given input file with the unloaded file. The unmatched records are passed as the input file for depersonalization.
